Renewable energy

Change the source of energy from fossil fuel-based systems to renewable sources with low CO2 emissions represent an opportunity to benefit  as well as the human as  the environment. Specific skills requires to value technical and economic feasibility of system to met the client needs.

Renewable energy

Renewables are a response to environmental requirements that we impose a radical change on how to produce energy. The source of energy from fossil once used can not be reused unlike the renewable resources that are defined inexhaustible. In the design sun can be used in sustainable buildings to produce electricity and heat water and for low temperature systems. Geothermal energy uses the heat contained in the soil, biomass allow to get thermal energy from biological materials of animal and vegetable origin. There are high efficiency systems can reduce the energy losses during the process of energy production such as cogeneration, micro cogeneration...

Main sources of renewable energy :

  • Solar energy
  • Wind energy
  • Geothermal energy
  • Biomass energy
  • Offshore wind, wave, and tidal energy
  • Biogas energy
  • Hydropower energy
  • ...

Renewable energy and alternative sources

  • Solar photovoltaic

solar photovoltaic, renewable energy, alternative sources

Photovoltaic systems converting solar radiation into electricity by exploiting the physical properties of some elements is made of. The spread on recent years of photovoltaic technology has produced a development of numerous types of system can use in few application with different dimensional measure, power and efficiency.

  • Solar thermal

Solar thermal, solar panel, renewable energy, alternative sources

It defines "solar thermal" technologies that use sun's radiation to preheat hot water for space heating and domestic hot water. They typically consist of a solar collector, mounted on a south facing roof (northern hemisphere) and a heat store. The most common systems are water-based with collectors can be integrated within the roof finish (flat plane) or mounted on top of the roof finish (evacuated tube collectors). An interesting development of this technology is cooling application, solar cooling, which consists in the combination of solar panels and a refrigerating machine.

  • Geothermal

     geothermal, energy renewable

The exploitation of the thermal energy contained in the soil at different depth is commonly called geothermal energy. This energy through heat pumps combined with geothermal probes can be used both to meet the energy demand for heating in winter and for cooling during the summer season.

  • Microcogenerazione

     microcogeneration, energy renewable

Cogeneration is the combined production of electricity and heat. The two energies, electricity and heat are produced in cascade, with one system: this allows to get excellent results in terms of energy efficiency and reducing carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere and keep down greenhouse. The microcogeneration systems is an extension of the idea of cogeneration to the single, multi family home or small office building.
